Terry Kemp of Facilitating People Ltd was previously a Trustee and Director of four third sector volunteer organisations and social enterprises. He was also Chairman of the Kennet and Avon Canal Partnership whilst a Trustee of the Kennet and Avon Canal Trust. Within British Waterways he instigated and produced a variety of policy development papers in respect of volunteering, produced the successful Kennet and Avon Canal Partnership HLF Grant application for £25m, as well as a number of volunteer engaged funding applications and works within the South of England.
During the last six years he has led or worked within a variety of volunteer and community organisations, fundraising and advising. Notably these include The Wilts and Berks Canal Partnership, The Cotswolds Canal Trust, The Barge Inn Community Project ( Winners of a Big Lottery Village SOS Grant) The Pewsey Area Community Trust Internet café and Art Gallery and the Somerset Waterways Development Trust.
